ALL MY EXES is a new folk/blues project!
Behind the project are various established musicians from Copenhagen’s blues and folk scene.
In the autumn of 2014, ALL MY EXES released the album “From Nashville to El Paso” — a collection of raw and gritty tracks written by Steffen Christensen in close collaboration with the rest of the band.
The album features a range of guest musicians, including Ronni Boysen, J-Tex, and Peter Nande.
It was recorded and produced by the band themselves in their own studio — a two-room World War II bunker — where they’ve been based over the past year, managing to create a truly unique and distinctive sound.
Since the release of their debut album ‘From Nashville to El Paso’ in 2013, they have toured extensively and played countless concerts across the country — from festivals and established venues to small, private acoustic shows in barns, gardens, and people’s living rooms.
In fact, these intimate concerts have gradually become the band’s trademark.
ALL MY EXES consists of Mikkel M. Christensen on guitar/backing vocals, Lars Andersen on drums, Mads Bay Mulvad on double bass/organ, and Steffen Christensen on dobro/banjo and lead vocals.
Founder and frontman Steffen Christensen grew up in the rich soil of Southern Jutland, where the Tønder Festival played a major role in shaping his musical upbringing.
He has performed in several roots and blues bands, and in 2001 he founded Bobadavdaw together with ALL MY EXES member Mads Bay Mulvad.
