In February 2022, a group of citizens in Sydthy founded the support association Hawkraftens Venner; with the aim of promoting cultural life on the Hawkraft stage in Vestervig. The association currently has around 100 paying members, and has more than 1000 followers on its Facebook group profile.
The tasks are separate, and the association does not participate in the day-to-day running of Hawkraft cultural hotel, but to support as volunteers cultural events at the hotel, and primarily to be ambassadors in the work to promote interest in culture in the local area and the association’s membership. In close cooperation with Kulturhotellet, the board of directors for the association develops the cultural concept and collaborates, and among these are the Kulturrummet i Thy, Thy Folkemusik and the Spillestedet Thy.
The board of the association is today composed of members from Stenbjerg, Agger and Vestervig, and of different nationalities. There is a majority of women and the age distribution is good. Hawkkraften’s Friends is developing rapidly, and this cultural community receives new members every week.

§ 2. Purpose / tasks
The purpose of the association is to be ambassadors for Hawkraft cultural scenee, as an exciting cultural scene of high quality.
The association is a benefit club, where members get 2 days’ allowance for the purchase of 2 tickets for events.
A member’s event is held annually, where there is free entry for members.
As a member supports man music and cultural life in Thy.
§ 3. Circle of members
Anyone who wants to is accepted as a member support Hawkraft music- and cultural scene, and the culture in Thy.
