Take the LimfjordsCaminoen on a winter hike and let yourself be seduced by the nature and tranquility of winter – and then we’ll take care of all the practical things. On this trip you can see the beautiful winter landscape and experience the meeting of the Limfjord with the North Sea. You can also enjoy a wellness experience at Sydthy Kurbad. The trip is a total of around 48 kilometers with day stages of around 16 kilometres, so there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the tranquility and take a closer look at the beautiful cold nature.

FOOD The food program for Alive Festival has the focus areas: sustainability, the green alternative and the local area. With these focus areas, we want to present you with a range of food that incorporates both local ingredients and local collaborations, the vegetarian or vegan alternative and supports Alive Festival’s increasing focus on sustainability. DRINKS Common to all bars at Alive Festival is that they are run by Alive’s volunteers. There is therefore a real Alive atmosphere all around the square, while at the same time, you are served a good hearty glass of whatever you fancy. There is a collaboration with Restaurant Agger Darling at Agger Havn, where our guests can enjoy the view over Nissum Bredning, the harbor, and with a view of the Thyborøn channel. There is both indoor and outdoor dining – and if you want to exercise a bit after the meal – you will find a mini golf course next door. Strandteatern is an independent theater group with a focus on adventure as performing arts and children’s participation. The ensemble prepares movement-based stage art with the play and adventure as the primary input to the creation.
Fairy tales as performing arts
Our long-term goal is to become a stage in Halland for adventure as performing arts. This is to make the stories that have been told from generation to generation accessible to all children and young people and give them the opportunity to explore and understand its meaning. Through immersive theatre, physical theatre, music and oral storytelling, strengthen the children’s imagination and language development. The research that exists into the long-term effect fairy tales have on young people focuses on the psychological values and consequences of exposure to these classic stories.
The KulturRummet is Thisted Municipality’s ambitious and innovative investment in the area of culture. KulturRummet brings together the municipal cultural institutions in Thy in a creative experience and learning space with wide frames and high ceilings – for all ages. The KulturRummet first came on the drawing board in 2012. In 2016, work began on building a whole new music school as an extension of the Library in Thisted, and the building together with the KulturRummet was inaugurated in 2018. Over the years, KulturRummet has launched and completed a large number of collaborative projects within the cultural field with support from local, regional and nationwide pools. We have, among other things, in examined young Thy residents’ relationship with local democracy, held YouTopia festival and Youth Voters meeting – and much more. KulturRummet is not a traditional cultural center, but consists of new and old cultural centers that collaborate crosswise – inside and out. The KulturRummet consists of the Library in Thy, the Music and Culture School in Thy, the community center Plantagehuset and the Food Workshop, the city space Smedjen and Thisted Music Theater.

Since 2000, our goal has been to offer courses in Kitesurfing and now also wingfoil and E-foil in a safe, professional, and controlled environment. We work hard to ensure that you have fun and have access to everything you need to enjoy the water and the sun, including high-quality equipment, exciting events, and informative courses.
Whether you come as an expert or a beginner, there is something for you at our Surfcenter. Stop hesitating and get ready to feel the wind in your hair.
We expect up to 1,200 visitors on the route from Agger to Vigsø in 2024, and at Hawkraft there is the option of breakfast and packed lunches for the trip.
Agger MikroBageri is real sourdough bread baked with love, and our partner for freshly baked breakfast bread, and the most delicious tapas dishes.
Between lakes, fjords, and the Sea, the old fishing village of Agger and nearby areas provide a range of outdoor water and nature activities: Surfing, SUP surfing, fishing, spearfishing, kayaking, river canoeing, and clamming/oystering to mention a few. In addition, the unique habitats surrounding Agger make the region a world-class place for birding with Agger Tange (the most southern part of National Park Thy) at the top of the list.
Agger Surf Events is located in the southern part of National Park Thy and Cold Hawaii (a stretch of surf spots basically). We provide guiding, training and advice to most activities in the region. Stop by our shop or call us today to learn more about Agger Surf Events.

Get On Board
Hiking in Thy – register here… Take a hiking course in Thy with Anna’s high school and get moving in the spectacular National Park Thy with 3 hikes of 14-22 km each with a super knowledgeable nature guide. When we are not out walking in the fresh and clean air, there will be exciting lectures about Thy, nature therapy, hiking, group singing, morning gymnastics, delicious food and then there will be plenty of time and peace to just be and enjoy.

On the hikes, we make some stops along the way, where we gain knowledge about what we see on the trip; the region’s history and landscapes, flora and fauna. But otherwise, you can just go at your own pace and enjoy nature in silence or in conversation with some of your new course mates.
We are out a lot
Our college is housed in Hawkraft Kulturhotel, which is a wonderful place with lovely rooms and beautiful common areas. It is located in Vestervig, and we are approx. 6 km from the roaring North Sea. We have lovely outdoor areas with tables and benches. We have morning exercise either outside or inside and morning singing also inside or outside, depending on the weather. One evening we have Christmas Eve with the High School Songbook in use. If you want to cycle on your dag off, you must bring your own bicycle .
Courses with presence, warmth and personality We have had a high school in Mallorca for 5 years, and in 2020 we expanded with high school courses in Denmark specifically in Thy and in 2021 Leaso was added. Annas high school has invested in a large Bed and Breakfast on Laeso, where we can accommodate up to 32 students. We also do courses in Andalusia, Scotland, and Sicily as well as Vietnam. In 2024, Portugal and Morocco will also be added – as well as a line of courses for entrepreneurship. More on that later. At Anna’s high school, we give you experiences and inspiration that are out of the ordinary. We are always looking for the unique home to live in, history to listen to, life experience to be inspired by. We place a high priority on being present and personal, and we place emphasis on meeting living people rather than dead stones. Experiences in nature are also high on our value list. There is a focus on the community with respect for the individual person, and our team is no bigger than the fact that we all get to know each other. There are good conversations and a good mood here. And we love when new friendships, new ideas, new courage arise. Annas Højskole is a privately owned high school, which is rooted in the Danish folk high school tradition. It was created by the high school’s principal, Anna Katrin Nørgaard, who is the granddaughter of the founder of Nørgaard’s high school in Bjerringbro. At the college, we do almost everything together. Morning gymnastics, singing, lectures, meals, talking are just some of the things we do together. We are driven by curiosity, a great desire to tell stories, and the ability to find the completely unique stories and experiences! WELCOME INSIDE!
Spillestedet Thy
En for men – men for en
Spillested Thy embraces a wide range, both because so many cultural institutions are involved, but also in particular because Spillested Thy is housed in the Plantagehuset in the KulturRummet, which houses several different institutions and actors. But Spillested Thy must embrace all venues in the municipality. We have therefore placed stages around the municipality so that the music comes out where the audience is.

We are in collaboration with Lotte and Karsten, as the good people behind the success of the most delicious dishes for several of our cultural dinners. Hurup Slagter is a specialist shop where passion goes hand in hand with the proud butcher’s craft. In addition to take-out food, a selection of convenience dishes and a large selection of products from our own sausage factory are also offered.
The smell of fresh sea water, the sound of 700 horsepower being accelerated, the rush of your body when you are pressed down into the seat and the boat is pounding outwards with the waves hitting the bow. The spray of foam behind the bow and the sun trying to reach through your sunglasses. That’s one way to describe a high-speed trip in a COLD HAWAII WATERSPORTS rib boat when the trip is about the great experience. A trip for everyone… The safety on board is of course top notch, because there is always a skipper at the back of the boat with all relevant training and certificates, so you can count on getting on board for a long and safe trip, where there will always be be a firm hand at the helm. It is of course important that you follow the skipper’s instructions at all times, such as putting on a small, inflatable lifejacket and only getting up on board when the skipper tells you to.

Ikarus Stage Arts Joy in the corridors, where actors from abroad meet you with a huge smile. Ikarus Stage Arts was founded by Carolina Pizarro and Luis Alonso in 2017 and was initially a cultural platform, consisting of short-term projects, residencies, and a network for performing artists from all over the world. Ikarus Stage Arts’ repertoire is very diverse, including street theatre, parades, theatrical concerts, and stage performances, where music and movement are at the core. The performances have been shown in numerous events and festivals in Europe, Asia and America, addressing all sorts of audiences. Furthermore, there is Ikarus cultural platform that serves as a platform for theatrical research and as a network consisting of professional artists from around the world

Trails in the Village Cluster Vestervig-Krik-Agger “We are passionate about hiking and experiencing the Danish nature, as well as the exciting places that can be found close to where we go on a daily basis. We would like to share that with you. That is why we have with vandreophold.dk tried to make it easy for you to go hiking in some of Denmark’s most beautiful landscapes.” Guests at the cultural hotel are offered free hiking tours with maps and guiding on their mobile phones. Haandgjow i Thy
Aagaards Brewery proudly builds on the foundation created by brewmaster Niels Kolding, who created the small and well-loved nanobrewery “Ølleriet Haandgjow”. We respectfully and honorably try to fill Niels’ shoes. We call our farm brewery “Aagaards Ølleri – Haandgjow i Thy” – out of respect and as a sign of continuity. Brewmaster Niels made beer that took years to develop. We will try to imitate that and get to Niels’ level, simply because he brewed really good and delicious beer. But we also want to develop our own beer and already have 2-3 pieces that we ourselves are behind.

Thy organic berries – From farm to table
At Thy organic berries, it is not far from the berry bushes in the field to the finished products. We grow, harvest, sort, wash, freeze, and produce finished products from our breeding. There is no transport here, from picking the berries until they are frozen and pressed – for juice or syrup or for resale at other food producers and restaurants.
