Experience the tone and mood of Kim Larsen’s music this Christmas when Gorm Bull together with saxophonist Niels Mathiasen invite you to a unique Christmas concert. “Finally Christmas Again!” is not only a celebration of Christmas, but also a tribute to Kim Larsen’s lasting legacy.
With over 400 Larsen concerts behind him, Gorm manages to capture the essence and mood when he interprets Larsen’s music. As one audience member said, “I feel in my body like I’ve been to a Kim Larsen concert”. This special evening will include selected Christmas hits from the “Glemmebogen”, where songs such as There is something in the air, Christmas has brought a blessed message and Dejlig er jörnde will evoke memories and spread the Christmas spirit. But also songs from “Værsgo” and “Midt om natten” are given loving treatment.
Niels Mathiasen, who previously played with Kim Larsen, adds a depth and longing with his saxophone that compliments Gorm’s vocals perfectly. Their shared past on stage with Larsen promises an evening full of personal anecdotes and musical mastery.
